This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I've made a couple of mental notes, set priorities, and reflected. I hope I've been given the chance to avoid making the same mistakes I've made more than once in the past.
I stored all my deviations. I just didn't feel like they were worthy of exhibition. I'm making things that are, though.

oh no, I didn't realize it was a favorites gallery, my bad.
Hmm, RISD looks for students who have a portfolio that demonstrates lots of technical skill. They like to see work done from observation (from life) as well as creative stuff. I split my portfolio about 40% observational work from life and 60% personal work. Also be sure to keep your grades up in academic classes too, because they consider grades in academic classes more than the average art school. Good luck, feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
You may feel free to use my photos for your works and practice.

Im sorry if that comment was plain, lame and/or boring.
I'm a junior in highschool, and I have my mind set on RISD. Do you have any portfolio advice, or just advice on getting in general?
